Parent page: All About the Super Bowl
Anyone who watched the Super Bowl 2020 knows that there were epic moments that will go down in history. There are also those moments that we wish could go away and never come back. Some of the notable highlights include the following.
J-Lo and Shakira Performance
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira’s performance drew a lot of conversation, both positive and negative. J-Lo’s ability to move the crowd was especially noteworthy. Using her thighs, she was able to strike a pose at the top of the pole. Attention to detail and the apparent discipline it takes to come up with such a performance is truly admirable.
On the other side of the coin, other people were less than impressed. Some people felt that the performance was too sexual. It was, therefore, not ideal for kids, who were most likely watching the Super Bowl with their parents. Whichever side of the coin you fall on, the show sparked a lot of conversation and took its place as one of the best moments in the Super Bowl.
100th NFL Anniversary Celebration
The 2020 Super Bowl marked the 100th anniversary of the NFL. The organisation has had its share of successes and scandals but continues to be a significant player within the industry. They also paid tribute to the 100 greatest players of all time.
The game pretty much stayed on course until the 4th quarter when the excitement went up a notch. With just three minutes left to the game, and Kansas down three, questions arose whether the Chief’s touchdown really crossed the line. A review allowed it, and they went on to take a 24-20 lead. Sloppiness on the Chief’s part may have led to Kansas City being able to score a touchdown, thus giving them an 11-point lead and second Super Bowl win. Andy Reid, the head coach, could now claim his first Championship after 28 years of coaching in the NFL.
