The one sure thing about the Super Bowl is that it never disappoints. Within each match, some moments stand out for years to come. It would be hard to come up with a list of the most memorable Super Bowl events of all time. However, some stand out and are worthy of mention.
Super Bowl XLIX
The leading contenders in the Super Bowl XLIX were the Seahawks vs Patriots. The former had a point to prove. If they took the Championship, it would be their second Super Bowl win. Up to the fourth quarter, things seemed to be looking the Seahawks way. They had a 10-point lead and were feeling optimistic. However, sports can be very unpredictable, and the wind changed. The Patriots managed to get 14 fourth-quarter points. In the final minutes of the game, instead of giving the ball to Marshawn Lynch, the Seahawks opted to pass from the 1-yard line. It was a costly mistake that saw Malcolm Butler pick the pass and ran out the clock. Patriots took the title with a 28-24 lead.
Super Bowl LI
Super Bowl LI pitted the Patriots versus the Falcons. The former took the title with a 34-28 lead. No one would have imagined that would be possible. In the third quarter, the Falcons have a 28-3 lead. If you want to talk about a comeback, it would be it. The Patriots came back in a big way. Brady and James White were primarily instrumental in putting the Patriots ahead.
Super Bowl XXV
Super Bowl XXV was a hotly contested match between The Giants and Buffalo Bills. The Giants won with a 20- 19 lead. Scott Norwood, in the last ten seconds, was unable to convert a kick that would have put the Buffalo Bills in the lead. The Giants took the title home, making it their second Super Bowl Victory.
